Sam's New Room, Ocean, Angels Game, Disneyland, & BYU Football

Sorry there are so many pictures - but we had a great trip and Sam loved Disneyland and the ocean especially. Of course his favorite thing was Lightning McQueen and Mater! He was literally awe struck by them.

Labor Day Weekend

I hope that everyone had an enjoyable weekend. We had a lot of fun. On Friday I got an itch to get out of town, so I called and booked us a hotel room in Rapid City, South Dakota! We woke up on Saturday and made the 5 hour drive. The hotel we stayed at had a huge waterpark, so we spent all evening swimming. Afterward, we ordered pizza and watched a movie in our hotel room.

Sunday morning we woke up and drove to Mount Rushmore. It was awesome!! The kids loved it and became "Junior Rangers". We then toured some caves and drove back to Colorado. It was a really quick trip, but we managed to wear the kids out!!!

The First Day of First Grade

I can't believe that my baby is in first grade!! It was quite exciting when I realized the "full-time student" of the family wasn't Dan!!! Tyce was so excited to use his new "backpack suitcase" and his new lunch box. Overall he had a fun day, but he was pretty tired when he got home.

Balloon Festival

Here are some fun pictures we've taken of the balloon festival we went too. Sam loved watching the balloons take off and then try to hit the target right in front of us.
